Spent two days at the next stop which was Bryce Canyon National Park. It was the opposite of Zion.  At Bryce you are looking down at the formations from above and at Zion you are looking up at the rock formations.  Hoodoos are the main attraction at Bryce.  They are rock formations formed when the surrounding surface is eroded away.  We went on a bus tour with a driver who was very informative about the park and also gave a dissertation on the life of Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid.

Temperature this am was 53.  There have been some showers. No longer have to run the AC at night.

There was one major blowout – my tennis shoes.  Was able to stay under control and not have an accident.  Nell kept saying that this event was going to happen. With the proper application of surgical tape it was possible to continue.  New shoes are at least 100 miles away from any type of shoe store.  I can hardly wait to go shopping!!!!!!!
